David Sylvian

Distinctive Beckenham-born singer, songwriter, musician, producer and artist who fronted successful glam-rock/synth-pop outfit Japan, during the '70s and'80s.

His solo career has also include several collaborations with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Robert Fripp, plus commissions for exhibitions and films.

His many key works include "Brilliant Trees", "Gone To Earth", "Secrets of the Beehive", "Dead Bees On A Cake", "Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence" (soundtrack featuring "Forbidden Colours") and "Manafon".
