Mick Karn

Unique bassist, saxophonist and songwriter who was a member of the new-wave band Japan. He was also a painter and sculptor.

After the band's demise in 1982, he began a solo career by releasing the album "Titles" and the single "Sensitive". His later work fused jazz, world-music and rock as well as several collaborations with other ex-Japan members, Bill Nelson, Peter Murphy (in Dali's Car), Kate Bush and Gary Numan amongst others.

He passed away in 2011.
