L A N D are Daniel Lea and Matthew Waters, a London based duo who have just released their debut album, Night Within on US label, Important Records. It features guest contributions from David Sylvian on vocals, Ben Frost, Daniel O'Sullivan (Miracle and Ulver) and Duke Garwood among others. The album is a vast collision of sound, from free brass and woodwind to "geometric" bowed cymbals and metallic percussion, all sculpted in Reykjavik by Ben Frost, enhanced by his signature aural physicality and visceral sub bass.
