David Gilmour
David Gilmour is an English guitarist, singer, and songwriter, one of the founder members of Pink Floyd. He was awarded the CBE in 2003.
His solo work includes his 1978 debut eponymous album, plus "About Face" (1984), "On An Island" (2006), "Rattle That Lock" (2015), plus 2024's: "Luck and Strange".
He has also worked with a large variety of musicians, including former Pink Floyd man, Syd Barrett, plus Roy Harper, Kate Bush, Pete Townshend, Paul McCartney, Phil Manzanera, and Bryan Ferry among many others.
