Nirvana
Nirvana were an influential American grunge band formed in 1987 by the late singer/ guitarist Kurt Cobain and bass player Krist Novoselic.
1991's 'Nevermind' saw the band with their fourth and final drummer: Dave Grohl, and set them into the stratosphere, with awards for the album and 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'.
Kurt Kobain took his life in April 1994. Krist Novoselic went on to form the band Flipper, with Dave Grohl forming the multi award-winning Foo Fighters.
