Former indie rock band formed in Brisbane, Australia in 1977 and comprised of Robert Forster - vocals and guitar, the late Grant McLennan - vocals and guitar, Lindy Morrison - drums, Amanda Brown - violin, oboe and guitar and Robert Vickers - bass guitar.

During their tenure, the Go-Betweens issued acclaimed albums such as "Send Me a Lullaby", "Liberty Belle and the Black Diamond Express", "16 Lovers Lane" and their final studio set "Oceans Apart" in 2005.
