Jon Batiste is a multi Grammy, and multi Oscar-winning American singer, keyboard player, bandleader, and TV personality. He won a 2021 Oscar (along with with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross) in the "Best Original Score" category for the film: "Soul" and the following year, won five Grammy awards for the album, "We Are", the song, "Cry", and "Soul" (again, along with with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross).

He released his debut album, "Times in New Orleans" in 2005, followed by: "Jazz Is Now" (2013), "The Process" (2014 with Chad Smith and Bill Laswell), "Christmas with Jon Batiste" (2016), "Hollywood Africans" (2018), "Meditations" (2020 with Cory Wong), "We Are" (2021), plus 2023's: "World Music Radio".
