London Symphony Orchestra
UK-based orchestra founded in 1904. The LSO are currently based at the Barbican Centre in London.
Previous principal conductors have included Edward Elgar, Andre Previn and Valery Gergiev.
As well as typical classical renditions, the orchestra has recorded several key film soundtracks including Star Wars, Superman, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harry Potter and Thor.
