Jawbox are an American alternative rock band from Washington, D.C, formed in 1989.
The band features founder members, J. Robbins (vocals/ guitar) and Kim Coletta (bass), plus Bill Barbot (vocals/ guitar) and Zach Barocas (drums).
They released their debut album, "Grippe" in 1991, followed by: "Novelty" (1992), "For Your Own Special Sweetheart" (1994), plus 1996's: "Jawbox".
