Ásgeir Trausti is an Icelandic alt-pop/electro-wave singer-songwriter whose releases include the Platinum-selling Icelandic language debut "Dýrð í dauðaþögn", released in 2012, followed by the English-speaking version, "In the Silence" in 2014 (a UK top-40 album hit). Follow-up, "Afterglow" was released in 2017, plus "Bury the Moon / Sátt" (2020), and 2022's: "Time on My Hands".
