American psychedelic rock band best known for the 1968 hit 'In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida'.

The band split in 1971 and again in 1985, before reforming a third time in 1987.

Their late sixties albums 'In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida' and 'Ball' both made the US Top 5.
