After studying under John Cage during the '60s, he composed the epic "The Sinking Of The Titanic" and "Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet", both issued under various versions (including an Aphex Twin rework in 1994 of the former and Tom Waits singing the latter).

Other works include "Three Viennese Dancers", "Vita Nova" and "A Worcester Ladymass".
