Avant-garde string quartet led by the Romanian arranger and composer, Alexander Bălănescu.

The ensemble came to prominence in 1992 with the album "Possessed", a selection of classically-inspired covers of Kraftwerk tracks such as "The Model" and "Computer Love".

They have also performed with Kate Bush and Michael Nyman.
