The Lightning Seeds
The Lightning Seeds are a UK indie-pop band, led by Ian Broudie, formed in Liverpool in 1989.
Their songs have featured collaborations with Frank Skinner and David Baddiel (the 'Three Lions' series) and also include the catchy hits 'Lucky You', 'Pure', 'Marvellous' and 'Life Of Riley'.
They released their debut album, "Cloudcuckooland" in 1990, followed by: "Sense" (1992), "Jollification" (1994), "Dizzy Heights" (1996), "Tilt" (1999), "Four Winds" (2009), plus 2022's: "See You in the Stars".
The band celebrated Jollification's 25th anniversary in 2019 with limited shows.
