Cardiacs were an English post-punk/ art rock band formed in 1977 by the late Tim Smith - lead vocals, guitar, keyboards, Jim Smith - bass, backing vocals, Kavus Torabi - guitar, backing vocals and Bob Leith - drums, backing vocals.

They released their debut album, "A Little Man and a House and the Whole World Window" in 1988, followed by: "On Land and in the Sea" (1989), "Heaven Born and Ever Bright" (1992), "Sing to God" (1996), plus 1999's: "Guns".

Planned album, "LSD", which was due for release in 2008 was cancelled.
