Damien Rice is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician from Dublin. He started out in the the band, Juniper in 1991, along with along with Paul Noonan, David Geraghty (both from Bell X1), Dominic Philips, and Brian Crosby.

He released his debut album, "O" in 2003, winning the "Shortlist Prize for Artistic Achievement in Music". That was followed by: "9" in 2006 and "My Favourite Faded Fantasy", released in 2014.
