The Revolution
The Revolution are an award-winning American band formed in 1979 by Prince, best known for the multi-platinum album, "Purple Rain" (as Prince and the Revolution).
The band also appeared on the 1982 album: "1999", plus: "Around the World in a Day" (1985), plus 1986's: "Parade", after which they initially disbanded.
The band reformed once in 2012 and once again in 2016, featuring founder members: Bobby Z. - drums, Matt Fink - keyboards/ vocals, Lisa Coleman - keyboards/ vocals, Brown Mark - bass/ vocals and Wendy Melvoin - rhythm guitar/ vocals.
