Khruangbin

Khruangbin are a psych-funk Houston-based band, featuring Laura Lee - bass, Mark Speer - guitar and Donald "DJ" Johnson on drums.

The band take their influence from 1960's Thai funk - their name is the Thai word for "aeroplane".

They released their debut album, "The Universe Smiles Upon You" in 2015, followed by: "Con Todo El Mundo" (2018), "Hasta El Cielo" (2019 remix album), "Mordechai" (2020), "Ali" (2022, with Vieux Farka Touré), plus 2024's: "A La Sala".
