Lee Konitz

[1927 - 2020] Lee Konitz was a renowned American jazz saxophonist and composer - one of the key figures in the "cool jazz" scene from the late '40s.

A prolific musician, Lee has recorded over 150 albums - either as band-leader or as a sideman, and, perhaps most notably, was part of Miles Davis' 1957 album "Birth of the Cool".
