US experimental rock band, formed in Athens, Georgia, in 1992 and named after the first openly gay politician elected in a major U.S. city.
Harvey Milk's debut album was 1994's wonderfully titled 'My Love Is Higher Than Your Assessment of What My Love Could Be'. After disbanding in 1998, they reformed in 2006.
