Quasi are an American alt-rock duo from Portland, Oregon, formed in 1993.

Key members include founder members Sam Coomes and Janet Weiss.

They released their debut album, "Quasi (cassette)" in 1993, followed by: "R&B Transmogrification" (1997), "Featuring "Birds" (1998), "Field Studies" (1999), "The Sword of God" (2001), "Hot Shit!" (2003), "When the Going Gets Dark" (2006), "American Gong" (2010), plus 2013's: "Mole City".
