Rocket from the Crypt are an American alternative rock band from San Diego, formed in 1989.

The band initially split in 2005, reforming briefly in 2011 and as of 2013 are back. The band have seen many line-up changes in their history, with Speedo (guitar/ vocals), ND (guitar) and Petey X (bass) remaining constant throughout. The next longest serving member is saxophonist Apollo 9.

Album releases include "Paint as a Fragrance" (1991), "Circa: Now!" (1992), "Hot Charity" (1995), "Scream, Dracula, Scream!" (1995), "RFTC" (1998), "Group Sounds" (2001) and "Live from Camp X-Ray" (2002).

The band returned in 2017, releasing the single: "He?s A Chef".
