Iconic and influential Jamaican reggae-singer, musician and political spokesperson, often cited as the performer who crossed reggae over to the mainstream during the '70s.
From the '60s until his death in 1981, Marley and his band The Wailers, issued several landmark albums including "Catch a Fire", "Exodus" and "Survival".
