'70s funk-disco band, linked to Funkadelic and fronted by George Clinton. They were originally called The Parliaments and performed doo-wop before switching to P-Funk some twenty years later.

Their key period ran from 1970 to 1980 with the albums "Mothership Connection" and "Funkentelechy Vs the Placebo Syndrome".
