Being as an Ocean are an American post-hardcore band formed in 2011, comprised of founder members: Joel Quartuccio - vocals, and Michael McGough - rhythm guitar/ vocals.

They released their debut album, "Dear G-d" in 2012, followed by: "How We Both Wondrously Perish" (2014), "Being as an Ocean" (2015), "Waiting for Morning to Come" (2017), plus 2019's: "Proxy: An A.N.I.M.O. Story".
