Akira Sakata
Japanese free jazz saxophonist from Hiroshima, who performed and toured with the Yamashita Yosuke Trio from 1972 until 1979.
Sakata has led and performed with Harpacticoida, the Sakata-Sextet, Sakata Akira & his Da-Da-Da Orchestra and, most recently, trio Sakata Akira mii.
He has also collaborated with DJ Krush.
