Louisiana-based funk band formed in the late 60s. The band has split into two: The Original Meters and The Funky Meters. Current lineup (Funky Meters): Art Neville - keyboard, vocals, George Porter, Jr. - bass, vocals, David Russell Batiste, Jr. - drums and Brian Stoltz - guitar.

They received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2018 Grammy's.
