Slick Rick is an American rapper who rose to prominence on Doug-e-Fresh's 1984 single, "The Show" (and the B-side, "La Di Da Di").
He released his debut album, "The Great Adventures of Slick Rick" in 1988, followed by "The Ruler's Back" (1991), "Behind Bars" (1994) and 1999's: "The Art of Storytelling".
