This year's Friday headline slot on 6th July has been filled by dance behemoth, Deadmau5. Other additions to the bill include his supports Maverick Sabre and Knife Party, plus special guest for Drake's Saturday show, Nicki Minaj. Tickets for Deadmau5 will cost £49.50 (Drake and Rihanna days are on sale now).

The band's fourth album, Magic Hour, is released on 28th May, just after the award-winning electro-sleaze outfit play two flamboyant shows at the Shepherd's Bush Empire on 16th and 17th May. The back-to-back London gigs will cost £32.50 per night.

The Nation's Tenor will be returning for a UK tour in 2013 in support of his new pre-Christmas album (due out in November). The shows begin in March in Birmingham, followed by large arenas and halls around the UK until two nights at the Royal Albert Hall on 8th and 9th April. Tickets from 9.30am on Friday.

Beth Ditto and her band will be busier bees than of late - the enigmatic singer has an EP out with Simian Mobile Disco, the band have a new album out in May and they're playing an intimate tie-in show in East London at XOYO on 15th May

Former Guns N' Roses guitarist and ambassador for Stoke-on-Trent, Slash, will be holding court in London this summer. A few weeks after the album comes out, he makes a one-off headline appearance at the Hammersmith Apollo on 6th June (£29.50), as well as a Download 2012 slot two days later.

Jordan and Harley have added yet more shows to their already-bulging autumn tour, starting with November shows in Bristol, Norwich, Carlisle and Sheffield. Tickets cost £15 upwards for these and other already-available gigs around the UK, currently finishing in Brighton on 7th December.

The N-Dubz star's autumn 2012 tour kicks off in mid-September, taking in Norwich, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol and more until the last date announced so far in Yeovil on 5th October. For London, Dappy plays the Hammersmith Apollo on 3rd Oct, priced £18.50 for Hammersmith and from £15 for other venues.

Ireland's sprightly folk-rockers have confirmed the first chunk of autumn/winter shows to see out 2012, starting with Cambridge on 26th November and ending in Newcastle on 19th December. New towns include London, Wolves, Manchester, Oxford and Liverpool. Tickets cost £22 - the other remaining gigs are on sale now.

Pearl Jam's enigmatic singer and songwriter has announced two rare solo UK shows at the Manchester Apollo on 28th and the Hammersmith Apollo on 30th July. He will be performing tracks from his recent US Top 5 album, 'Ukelele Songs'. Priced £45 for Manchester and £37.50/£50 for London. Tickets on sale Friday 23rd March from 9AM.

Gig-wise, the lads have been neglecting their homeland for a while, a state of affairs set to be remedied with the announcement of half-a-dozen Scottish shows in late spring. Confirmed are Dundee on 23rd May, followed by Aberdeen, Inverness, Dunfermline, Stirling and finally Coatbridge on 1st June. Ticket prices are a pocket-friendly £7 and are on sale now.

Aimed at the whole family age range, music headliners for the first MFest in July will include '80s chart-busters Texas (Saturday) and The Human League (Sunday), plus Beverley Knight, Matt Cardle, Bob Geldof and Cher Lloyd on Saturday and Levellers, Scouting for Girls, Inspiral Carpets and more on Sunday. £49.50 for day tickets or £95 for weekenders.

This year's gatherings at Reading and Leeds Festival 2012 will feature Kasabian, Foo Fighters and The Cure as headliners, ably supported by Florence and the Machine, The Vaccines, Enter Shikari, At The Drive-In, The Black Keys, Kaiser Chiefs, Bullet for my Valentine, The Gaslight Anthem, Eagles of Death Metal, Band of Skulls, Pulled Apart By Horses and many more. Tickets cost £197.50 for weekend camping and £85 for day tickets - on sale now.

Ibiza and Mallorca Rocks 2012 lists Bloc Party, Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, Chase and Status, Example, New Order (returning to the islands for the first time in 23 years), Tinie Tempah, Professor Green and Maverick Sabre as just some of the performers. Ed Sheeran will play at the opening shows on 5th and 6th June, while the closing parties come courtesy of Two Door Cinema Club on 19th/20th September! Tickets cost from £30.
