Posted: 12 years ago

This week is another impressive line-up of new on-sales, including teeny-sensations One Direction, a special Royal Albert Hall date for the Cure, clubbing icons Swedish House Mafia (THAT is going to be some show), dates for the Strictly Come Dancing and Kerrang! Relentless tours, though regrettably not together, and the return of blazing comedic matriarch, Joan Rivers. Read on for more details.

Tickets on-sale Friday at 9am unless otherwise stated. For ticket availability, click on the "Buy Tickets" buttons below, on or after the on-sale date and time. Prices quoted are not inclusive of booking fees.

One Direction are embarking on a 20-plus date UK and Ireland, including a handful of arenas. The tour kicks off in Wolverhampton on 21st December, followed quickly by Manchester Apollo dates (23rd and 24th, the first also including a matinee show). The tour resumes in the New Year with shows all over the UK and Ireland, priced around £30 / €35 and on sale Saturday at 10am.

After their Bestival exclusive earlier in the summer, Robert Smith's boys have now announced another mammoth show. This time, the Royal Albert Hall will reverberate to three mini-sets on 15th November with each featuring an entire album - Three Imaginary Boys, Seventeen Seconds and Faith - under the banner 'Reflections'. 150 minutes of great music in one evening. Tickets will start at £20 for the gallery, rising to a staggering £150!

Angello, Axwell and Ingrosso will be headlining a full-capacity, mammoth sound system show at the Bowl on July 14th 2012. Support for the event has yet to be announced, but we reckon Swedish House Mafia could sell the place out on their own, judging by the speed of their previous ticket-sales - these ones are priced at £45.

After his string of open-air shows during the past 12 months, it comes as no surprise that Mr Dwight has booked another one for 2012. The lucky venue is the swish new B2net football stadium in Chesterfield on 9th June, a real coup for the town. Tickets start at £40, rising to £80.

Strictly Come Dancing 2012

Next January will see the popular arena tour, based on the format of the successful TV show, kick off (or should we say, dance off?) in Birmingham on the 22nd, followed by all the usual big cities until Belfast on 26th February. Tickets are around £35 (or €45 for Dublin) - on sale from Thursday.

Kerrang! Relentless Tour 2012

For 2012, the organizers have confirmed co-headliners New Found Glory and Sum 41, plus support from letlive. and While She Sleeps. You can catch the Kerrang! tour in Dublin (5th February), Southampton (7th), Norwich (8th) and many more until the final big bash at London's Roundhouse on the 17th, all priced at £20 - a bargain for four bands!

The singer has added more iconic cathedrals to her When The Bell Tolls Tour list. Matinee show (i.e. afternoon) appearances in Gloucester, York, Sheffield and Birmingham have been confirmed for October. Tickets are on sale this Friday at 10AM, priced at £15 and each show lasts approx 45 minutes.

Belgian beat-masters 2manydjs are set to wish clubbers a Merry Soulwaxmas in December at Brixton's Academy. After successfully selling out the first slot on the 16th, the duo have announced a second show for the 17th! Tickets cost £26.50 - don't miss out!

First stop for the N-Dubz rapper's first solo (and post-MOBO) jaunt is Norwich on 9th December, followed by Birmingham, Manchester and more until London's Indig02 on 19th December. Tickets will be priced at £15 for all shows.

News of a UK/Ireland tour will certainly please his following - he will play Ireland before crossing the sea to Liverpool on the 24th. Rare shows in Gateshead, Ipswich and Southend also feature in his busy schedule, with a Hammersmith Apollo show booked for 4th May. Tickets are priced from around £32.50.

We had a surge of interest for Adams' tour in October and it seems the man has got round to announcing another London show (as well as more European action afterwards). 1st November at Cadogan Hall should be a stormer! Prices start at £32.50.

The dream-pop outfit are playing Trinity in Bristol on Tuesday 17th January 2012, followed by shows in Manchester (at the refurbished Ritz), Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham and Brighton, before the final gig of the tour at the Shepherds Bush Empire on 16th February. £12.50 (except London - £15) - on sale now.

Three more city arena shows have been added to the lads' UK tour next year - these include a trio of April shows in Manchester's MEN Arena (20th), London's O2 Arena (21st) and Glasgow's Braehead Arena (24th). The first two are priced from £25, while Glasgow starts at £32.50.

These US pop-punksters have previously visited these shores as support to The Maine in the spring, so should feel welcomed for their headlining debut next year. January shows from Leeds to Shepherd's Bush will cost £14.

Joan Rivers brings her Now or Never Tour to the UK in October 2012, kicking-off in Newcastle on Friday 12th, followed by Liverpool, Glasgow, Manchester and Bristol, before the final show at the Royal Albert Hall on 22nd October, with all priced from £33.50 and on sale from Saturday.
