Funk and disco outfit from the US fronted by lead vocalist Harry "KC" Wayne Casey and formed in 1973.

Up to 12 members make up the rest of the ensemble.

Casey's earliest success was as a songwriter for George McCrae - he wrote "Rock Your Baby" in 1974, a huge number one.

KC & The Sunshine Band themselves racked up several hits including "That's The Way I Like It", "Queen Of Clubs", "Get Down Tonight", "Please Don't Go" and "Give It Up".
