Howard Jones

High Wycombe-based singer-songwriter and electro-pop pioneer who came to public attention with the track 'New Song', a Peel favourite in 1983.

The 1984 debut album 'Human's Lib' contained further hits singles including 'What Is Love', 'Pearl In The Shell', 'Hide and Seek' and 'Conditioning'.

His second release, 1985's 'Dream Into Action', also featured several familiar songs such as 'Like To Get To Know You Well' and 'Things Can Only Get Better'.

Other releases include the top 10 album 'One to One' and 'Cross That Line' (1989), 'In the Running' (1992), 'Working in the Backroom' (1994), 'Angels & Lovers' (1997), 'People' (1998), 'Piano Solos (For Friends and Loved Ones)' (2003), 'Revolution of the Heart' (2005), 'Ordinary Heroes' (2009), 'Engage' (2015), plus 2019's: 'Transform'.
