English rock outfit featuring former Smokie drummer Ron Kelly and the son of the late Alan Barton, Dean.

Alan Barton died in a road accident in Germany in 1995. In 2008, his son joined Kelly, Andy Wehlan and Graham Kearns (a lifelong friend of Alan Barton) for a one-off event and The Spirit of Smokie was born.
