Cecil Sharp Project
A multi-artist, residential commission to create new material based on the life and collections of the founding father of the English Folk Revival, Cecil Sharp.
The results of the March 2011 residential are to be performed at the Shrewsbury Folk Festival in August 2011.
The collective comprises Steve Knightley, Jackie Oates, Andy Cutting, Caroline Herring, Jim Moray, Patsy Reid, Leonard Podolak and Kathryn Roberts.
