MC Taylor is the man behind Hiss Golden Messenger.
Based in San Francisco, and also using the pseudonym 'Jai Lil Diamond', Taylor is also a lecturer in folklore.
He released his debut album, "Country Hai East Cotton" in 2008, followed by: "Bad Debt" (2010), "Poor Moon" (2011), "Lord I Love the Rain" (2012), "Haw" (2013), "Lateness of Dancers" (2014), "Heart Like a Levee" (2016), "Vestapol" (2016), "Hallelujah Anyhow" (2017), "Virgo Fool" (2018), "Terms of Surrender" (2019), "O Come All Ye Faithful" (2021), plus 2021's: "Quietly Blowing It".
