Dennis Coffey is an American guitarist - a one-time member of the infamous "Funk Brothers" - the band that provided much of the music to many Motown songs in the 60s and 70s.

In later years, many of Coffey's funky, wah-heavy riffs were sampled by the likes of House of Pain, Public Enemy, Queen Latifah, LL Cool J, Fugees and many more.
