Charlie Hunter

Charlie Hunter is a California-based guitarist, composer and band-leader and one-time student of Joe Satriani.

He often plays custom-masde guitars featuring bass and guitar strings, playing a bassline whilst simultaneously playing a melody/ solo.

Making his debut on The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy's "Hypocrisy Is the Greatest Luxury", as a soloist he released his debut album, "Charlie Hunter Trio" in 1993, followed by "Bing, Bing, Bing!" (1995), "Ready...Set...Shango!" and many more until "Gentlemen, I Neglected To Inform You You Will Not Be Getting Paid" (2009), "Public Domain" (2010), "Not Getting Behind Is the New Getting Ahead" (2012 with Scott Amendola), "Pucker" (2013 with Scott Amendola), "Dionne Dionne" (2014), "Cars/Williams/Porter/Ellington" (2014 with Scott Amendola), "We Two Kings: Charlie Hunter and Bobby Previte Play the Great Carols" (2015), "Let the Bells Ring On" (2015), "Everybody Has a Plan Until They Get Punched in the Mouth" (2016), "Charlie Hunter/Carter McLean Featuring Silvana Estrada (with Carter McLean and Silvana Estrada)" (2018), "Music!
