Rock and occasional American-roots singer who has been active since 1972, either solo or with his backing band, The E-Street Band.

Known as 'The Boss', his catalogue is vast and often comprised of 'stadium-rock' or plaintive ballads.

Key songs include "Born To Run", "Hungry Heart", "Born In The USA", "Cover Me", "Atlantic City", "Dancing In The Dark", "I'm On Fire", "Tougher Than The Rest", "The Rising" and "We Take Care of Our Own".

In 2022, he released the album, "Only the Strong Survive", an album of R&B/ soul covers, featuring the E Street Horns.
