Melinda Hughes is an opera singer, a satirical cabaret writer and performer. She is also a specialist in Weimar Cabaret and has released two CDs under the Nimbus Alliance Label 'Smoke & Noise' (2011) and 'Weimar & Back' (2018)

She wrote and produced 'From Love to Decay' which ran at the Jermyn Street theatre in 2002

She co -wrote, produced and performed in the following shows at the Edinburgh Fringe: "French Kiss" (2013), "Cocktails with the Diva" (2014), "MARGO half woman half beast" (2018/ 2019) and "Off the scale" (also 2019, earned her a place as a finalist at the 2019 Funny Women Awards).
