Scottish band mixing alt-rock, folk and electronica elements, fronted initially by Steve Mason and Gordon Anderson. The band split in 2004.

The band achieved three consecutive Top 20 albums with "The Beta Band", "Hot Shots II" and "Heroes to Zeros".
