English contemporary instrumental and smooth jazz band formed in England in the early 1980s, originally fronted by acoustic guitarists Simon James and the late Nick Webb. The band is currently fronted by long-term members, Greg Carmichael and Miles Gilderdale.

They released their debut album, "Red Dust and Spanish Lace" in 1987, followed by: "Natural Elements" (1988), "Blue Chip" (1989), "Reference Point" (1990), "Back on the Case" (1991), "Early Alchemy" (1992), "The New Edge" (1993), "Against the Grain" (1994), "Arcanum" (1996), "Positive Thinking..."
