Turin Brakes

South London-based acoustic guitar-pop outfit comprised of founders Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian with Rob Allum and Eddy Myer.

Their debut album, "The Optimist", was issued in 2001 and nominated for a Mercury Music Prize - it contained the familiar songs "Mind Over Money" and "Underdog".

Other albums include 20013's "Ether Song" (containing Top 5 hit "Painkiller", "5 Mile (These Are The Days)" and "Long Distance"), plus "JackInABox" (2005), "Dark on Fire" (2007), "Outbursts" (2010), "We Were Here" (2013), "Lost Property" (2016), "Invisible Storm" (2018), "Wide-Eyed Nowhere" (2022), plus 2025's: "Spacehopper".
