The Week Ahead from Monday 1st July also includes: Bristol Comedy Garden 2013, Taking Hayley, Beat-Herder Festival, Faster Pussycat, Goldheart Assembly, Relative Values and more

The first two bands in our headline above feature as part of Live From Jodrell Bank 2013, with other key outdoor festivals including Cornbury, Beat-Herder and more.

Although tours traditionally quieten down for the summer, there are some crackers from Goldheart Assembly, Taking Hayley, Tift Merritt, a rescheduled Faster Pussycat tour and a rare Inverness show from Belle and Sebastian amongst others.

Shows and comedy also offer up a varied assortment, including a rare acting stint from comedian Rory Bremner in Relative Values - plus Truckfest returns for the young at heart!

Live from Jodrell Bank 2013 Australian Pink Floyd on Saturday 6th July, and New Order on the 7th. Tickets available.
Cornbury Festival 2013 Squeeze, Keane, Van Morrison and more. VIP tickets sold out. Standard tickets are £160/£190.
Beat-Herder Festival 2013 Norman Jay, Booka Shade, TOY, The Lancashire Hotpots, Jimmy Cliff etc.. £105.
Mostly Jazz, Funk and Soul Festival 2013 Bonobo, Candi Staton and Soul II Soul, among others. Sunday tickets sold out, others available.

The Blind Boys of Alabama are in London on Monday and Tuesday night. Tickets for both shows are £25.

Faster Pussycat Rescheduled from January. Ipswich, London, Grimsby, Belfast, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, £10 upwards.
