English stand-up comedian, raised in London by his mother, the PR guru Lynne Franks (who inspired Jennifer Saunders' character Edina in Absolutely Fabulous).

Howie started performing comedy in London in 2002, making his full Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut in 2008, with his show 'Chosen'.
