Akon
American-Senegalese rapper, real name Aliaume Damala Badara Akon Thiam.
His debut 2004 album, "Trouble" reached number 1 in the UK and spawned the chart-topping Lonely. He released the follow-up album: "Konvicted" in 2006 , featuring his collaboration with Eminem, "Smack That", "Freedom" followed in 2008, plus "Akonda" (2019), plus 2019's: "El Negreeto".
Akon also runs the record label, Konvict Muzik, established in 2004.
