The Cravats

Redditch-based punk-rock band, formed in 1977.

Their debut album "Cravats In Toytown" was released in 1980 on Small Wonder. Key songs included "Precinct", "Rub Me Out" (on Crass) and "In The Land Of The Giants".

Initially the band split in 1982 with two members forming art-indie outfit The Very Things.

The band reformed in 2000, curiously hooking up with Orbital's Paul Hartnoll (a fan) for the track "Seance" in 2006.
