Yemen-born, English multi award-winning writer, stand-up comedian, campaigner and actor.

Stand-up shows have included "Unrepeatable", "Dress to Kill" (which won two Emmy Awards), "Big Joke", "Stripped", "Force Majeure", "Force Majeure Reloaded", "Wunderbar" and "Still Standing".

2023 saw the one-woman show, "Eddie Izzard: Great Expectations" hit New York and London theatres.
