Thomas Dolby

English new wave/ synth-pop singer/ songwriter who had a number of hits in the early 80s. He also performs with his cajun-bluegrass ensemble Toadlickers.

His most familiar songs include "Hyperactive!", "She Blinded Me With Science", "Windpower", "Europa and the Pirate Twins", "Radio Silence", "Airwaves" and "Urges". He returned to studio recordings with the 2011 release, "Map of the Floating City".

His other achievements include composing the signature Nokia ringtone and his studio space has included a converted 1930's lifeboat!
