He was one of the first people to DJ at the Hacienda (Fac 51) nightclub and also the last.
He has written many books about music and DJs, in particular 'Adventures On The Wheels Of Steel : The Rise Of The Superstar DJs' and 'Not Abba : The Real Story Of The 70s'.
