Johnny Moped is Paul Halford - the lead singer with the mid-70s punk band Johnny Moped. The band at one point featured Chrissie Hynde and Captain Sensible.

The band released just two albums, their debut "Cycledelic" in 1978 and 1991's "The Search For Xerxes".
